We first met Colin James in the fall of 2003 at a photo shoot for a contest that was being held on his website. My first impression was that this guy is real. And by real I mean he is one of the nicest and most approachable people I have met in the entertainment industry. The kind of guy you'd like to call your friend. I was there because we'd been asked to contribute leather jackets for the contest in conjunction with Honda and their awesome VTX motorcycle. Colin and I talked for a bit about what he was looking for in a riding jacket. He wanted something that would look great on the bike and on the street or at a gig. I took his ideas back to the factory and began to work. After a second meeting with him in my office to choose leather, lining, and hardware, we produced the first CJ1136! Colin absolutely loves it! The remarkable thing about Colin James is that the man truly enjoys what he does, and this is very apparent when you see him perform live. When he cranks the first few notes from his guitar an intimate relationship with the audience ensues. Sound corny? Maybe, but you can't help but get caught up in his passion for his music, it's written all over his face as he sings and plays. No rock star attitude whatsoever. And what a guitar player! When he was 16 years old he was opening for Stevie Ray Vaughn. With an endorsement like that, you have to visit his website and sample some of his music!

His style of music over the years has been varied. From down and dirty blues to big band to rock to adult contemporary, and not necessarily in that order. Each of his nine albums have really great songs that have all had plenty of radio play.
